INESS: Наноматериалдар мен энергияны сақтау технологияларындағы серпінді жетістіктер

The 13th International Conference on Nanomaterials and Advanced Energy Storage Systems – INESS-2025 will take place from August 6–8, 2025, at Nazarbayev University.

This year’s conference marks a dual celebration: the 15th anniversary of Nazarbayev University and the 100th anniversary of Yevnei Buketov, a pioneering figure in Kazakh science. Against this backdrop, INESS 2025 welcomes an exceptional roster of invited speakers representing leading institutions across Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates. Their participation underscores the conference’s expanding global reach and the depth of international collaboration it fosters.

Established in 2011, INESS has emerged as Central Asia’s flagship scientific forum in the fields of nanotechnology, energy storage systems, and advanced materials science. Nazarbayev University, National Laboratory Astana, and the Institute of Batteries jointly organize the conference.

The 2025 edition introduces several key developments. Global partnerships have been expanded to include institutions such as Sejong University, Hanyang University, Tokyo Institute of Technology, The University of Tokyo, Chungnam National University, University College London, and Institut de Chimie et des Matériaux Paris-Est, among others, further reinforcing the conference’s international academic impact. Dedicated programming for early-career researchers will feature interactive workshops, mentorship opportunities, and joint publication initiatives with global collaborators. There is also a continued emphasis on cutting-edge research in lithium-ion, lithium–sulfur, and sodium-ion batteries, solid-state systems, functional nanomaterials, computational modeling, and green hydrogen technologies.
