Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy invites the community to attend a research webinar titled “The Politics of Administrative Stability: Turnover Trends in Bureaucracies” presented by Dr. Abiha Zahra.

The webinar will explore patterns of administrative stability and turnover within bureaucratic institutions, examining how political and organizational dynamics shape public sector leadership and governance. Participants will gain insights into contemporary research on bureaucracy, policy implementation, structural reforms, and performance management systems.

Dr. Abiha Zahra is a Research Fellow at the Swiss Graduate Institute of Public Administration (IDHEAP), University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She previously served as Assistant Professor and Head of Department at the Department of Governance and Global Studies, Information Technology University, Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Zahra earned her PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the Public Governance Institute at KU Leuven, Belgium. Her research focuses on leadership, bureaucracy, policy implementation, structural reforms, and performance management systems.
