What is Research?

Research is defined as careful consideration of study regarding a particular concern or problem using scientific methods. There are three main research types: exploratory, descriptive, and explanatory.

Who is a Researcher?

A researcher is somebody who performs research, independently as a principal investigator, the search for knowledge or in general any systematic investigation to establish facts. Researchers can work in academic, industrial, government, or private institutions.

Research assistant (RA) is a student employed by a university or research institute on a temporary contract, to assist in private or academic research.
