As a follow-up to signing the Memorandum of Understanding in March 2023, NU and ADA University (Baku, Azerbaijan) signed an Agreement for Student Exchange in September 2023. The partnership marks a significant milestone in the global education landscape, further enhancing the ties between these two prestigious institutions from brotherly nations.
ADA University, based in Baku, Azerbaijan, is a prestigious institution dedicated to providing high-quality education and leadership development. It was established in 2014 by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, merging Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and Information Technologies University.
ADA University became the first partner institution in Azerbaijan, expanding international cooperation geography of NU. The first step of the collaboration between two universities was made in September 2022, when the Head of the Office of Global Relations, Aliya Kaimoldinova, visited the campus of ADA University in Baku.
The newly established Agreement for Student Exchange represents a tangible manifestation of the shared commitment of both institutions to promote global learning opportunities. Under the framework, four undergraduate and graduate students from each university will have the invaluable chance to participate in the student exchange program. The program promises to offer a rich and diverse educational experience, fostering cultural exchange, intellectual growth, and international understanding among students from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
