Darsh Mann from StartX accelerator, Silicon Valley visited Kazakhstan last week. StartX, with 16 unicorns and 90% startup success rate represents, today is one of the strongest communities to support entrepreneurs. This partnership with Stanford-affiliated StartX creates an opportunity and platform for the take-off of many startups in Kazakhstan and the CIS. Goal is to bring some of the best practices of forming a community here and support the growth of startups in Kazakhstan through exposure to resources in the Silicon valley.
During the visit, Darsh Mann visited NU, the Social Development Fund, Astana Business campus, the Zerde National Info communication Holding, National Information Technologies JSC, Astana Hub, TechHub, AIFC National Center for Biotechnology, Science Fund, Ministry of Digital Development and Innovation.
In Almaty, Mr. Mann actively communicated with the staff and alumni of the Jas Ventures Almaty programs, with representatives of Alumni NU, Alumni NIS, and representatives of incubators, accelerators, universities MOST, KBTU, ALMAU, MUIT, Tech Garden. Meetings were held with employees of the Almaty Digitalization Department and the NU Endowment Fund.
