The representatives of NU’s administration warmly welcomed the esteemed guests and conducted a campus tour. Executive Vice President Kipshakov Argin, Head of the President’s Office Maksat Zheten, and Dean of the Graduate School of Public Policy Hui Weng Tat briefed the Saudi delegation on the structure, activities, and values of the top research university in Central Asia.
The guests were introduced to the campus layout and informed about the opportunities available for students. During the tour, the interim President and CEO of SCISP, Raad AlBarakati visited NU laboratories, gaining insights into the ongoing research projects.
Ambitious developments from the NU’s Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) and the multifunctional Athletic Center were also showcased to the visitors.
In conclusion, discussions revolved around the evolution of modern education, and both parties agreed to enhance collaboration in strategic areas.
SCISP is a government entity linked to the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, and aims to coordinate the Kingdom’s efforts pertaining to its international and regional strategic partnerships. The Board of Directors of the SCISP, chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
