A mobile application for cough analysis was developed by School of Medicine and School of Engineering and Digital Sciences researchers. The main purpose behind the Cough Analyzer, - this is the name developers chose for their application, is to record, analyze and differentiate cough sounds.

'Creation of a 3D map of underground utilities of the urban area", - a joint project lead by the "KazAeroSpace" Technopark resident and Professor Peyman Purafshari of the School of Mining and Geosciences, won a grant from the Office of Commercialization of NU.
