Scientists from Singapore, Japan, Korea, USA, Russia, Taiwan, Switzerland, Turkey, and Kazakhstan presented their theses this year. About 160 people, representatives of such international universities as Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), Tokyo Metropolitan University (Japan), Moscow State University (Russia), Ural Federal University (Russia), National Taiwan University and others participated in the conference.
Scientists discussed perspectives and problems in materials science, nanotechnology, ecology, renewable energy sources, and energy storage systems.
The conference was supported by the target program of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, as well as sponsored by Interactive corp, Hohsen Corp, LinkMaster, E-Globaledge Corporation, G&G Instruments, DistriTech, AME Energy, LaborPharma, Interzero, Angstrom, IDB Engineering, and NOVATEST.
The INESS conference was initiated by NU SEDS Professor Zhumabay Bakenov, in 2013. Prof. Zhumabay Bakenov is the leader of the Battery Group. The number of researchers has reached more than 70 and is considered the biggest research group at NU.
