NU Signs an Agreement with Friedrich Schiller University Jena in Germany

Established in 1558, Friedrich Schiller University Jena is one of the oldest German universities boasting a prestigious alumni list that includes renowned figures such as Karl Marx, Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, Friedrich Schiller and Alexander von Humboldt. Today the university has about 18,000 full-time students, with 15% of international students from 120 different nations.

Established in 1558, Friedrich Schiller University Jena is one of the oldest German universities boasting a prestigious alumni list that includes renowned figures such as Karl Marx, Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, Friedrich Schiller and Alexander von Humboldt. Today the university has about 18,000 full-time students, with 15% of international students from 120 different nations. Friedrich Schiller University Jena provides 122 degree programs in 10 faculties which vary from the Faculty of Theology to the Faculty of Medicine. The university has extensive cooperation links with more than 200 universities in over 50 countries facilitating research collaborations and fostering the exchange of students, scientists, and scholars.

Within the framework of the signed Agreement, the parties agreed to cooperate in exchanging undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, the collaboration extends to sharing information and documents of mutual interest, and arranging collaborative research opportunities, seminars, meetings, lectures and club activities. It is expected that the newly established Agreement between NU and Friedrich Schiller University Jena will contribute to and enhance internationalization of NU.
