The system includes an academic module for student learning and evaluation, a course management module, and a sport and exercise module. Through these elements of interactive gaming, friendly competition, social interaction, as well as physical movement, the team believes the educational environment can engage the student while increasing interest and positive attitudes towards learning. Mentored by Dr. Ben Tyler of NU’s School of Science and Technology, the team will represent NU at the April 26th Kazakhstan Regional Final at the Microsoft Imagine Cup competition in Almaty. Microsoft Imagine Cup is a large international student competition. It has been hosted by Microsoft in many countries of the world since 2003. During this period of time almost 1.5 million people took part in the contest. Participants are supposed to use their imagination and creativity to create technological solutions fitting the competition motto which is “Imagine a world where technology helps solve the toughest problems”.
