The Department for Admissions and the Centre for Preparatory Studies (Foundation programme) conducted a presentation on the admission procedure every hour. In addition, the University offered presentations about its faculties – the School of Engineering, the School of Science and Technology, and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Students and representatives from the Department of Student Affairs took visitors on a campus tour. Video films about the University and a music video, which was made by students (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jlu7dCyoOTo), were shown in the atrium of the main building. A similar Open House Day will be held in Almaty in a week. NU is currently registering applications from prospective students for the academic year of 2012-2013.
