Astana recently hosted the NURIS Demo Day, where 24 startup teams presented their developments as part of business incubation and acceleration programs in various fields such as EdTech, MedTech, FinTech, E-Commerce, IoT, and others. The most promising startups received pre-financing from NURIS, with amounts of up to two million tenge. Each team had only three minutes to present their startup to the jury, investors, and the media.
“We are conducting the Demo Day for our two incubation and acceleration programs. These programs provide support to startups at an early stage, helping them transition from the idea phase to their first sales. We also assist existing startups in scaling up, attracting funding, increasing sales, and entering new markets,” said Asylzhan Upasheva, the head of NURIS’s business incubator, as quoted by El.kz.
