This year, the event focused on nature conservation in Kazakhstan.
The international environmental campaign “Earth Hour”, initiated by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), took place on March 22 at 8:30 PM. The annual event unites millions of people worldwide and serves as a reminder of our responsibility to use natural resources wisely. NU supported the initiative, which aims to foster ecological awareness and promote sustainable living.
In Kazakhstan, the event was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Association of Environmental Organizations of Kazakhstan, the Coalition for Green Economy and G-Global Development, and the “Earth. Sustainable Development” Foundation.
