2nd Eco-Conference Focuses on Women’s Health

The Nazarbayev University Research Center for Entrepreneurship (NURCE), in collaboration with the Business Trainers Association, hosted the 2nd Eco-Conference dedicated to women’s health issues.

The event brought together medical professionals—including nutritionists, endocrinologists, and cardiologists—as well as members of the business community involved in sustainable development.

“NURCE and the Business Trainers Association are engaged in extensive scientific and practical efforts to foster a supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem. We place special emphasis on empowering women and people with disabilities who are striving to build their own businesses. Our initiatives include educational programs, mentorship, interviews, and practical solutions based on our research. NURCE actively promotes innovation, green technologies, and initiatives that drive sustainable entrepreneurship in the region,” said Professor Shumaila Yousafzai, Director of NURCE.

The conference program featured interactive sessions, open dialogue with speakers, and networking opportunities. Participants explored the importance of a mindful approach to the body, health, and emotions in shaping resilient female leadership.

Aigerim Tarbagatayeva, Head of the Business Trainers Association, noted that the organization runs educational programs and projects aimed at building a community of entrepreneurs guided by values of respect for people, society, and the environment.
