The 10th International Open Access Week started at NU Library

On October 23-29 the 10th International Open Access Week will be held at NU Library (3rd floor). Everyone is welcome to participate in this event!The program of the event includes open lectures by professors, unique reports, debates and discussions, as well as viewing and discussing films.

The program of the event includes open lectures by professors, unique reports, debates and discussions, as well as viewing and discussing films.

Professors of the Graduate School of Education Tsediso Michael Makoelle and Phillip Montgomery, assistant professor at the School of Science and Technology Dmitry Beznosko will give a series of lectures on Open Access. Aziz Iskakov, Expert of the Information Technology Assessment Sector, will make a presentation on the current situation of Open Access in Kazakhstan. Members of the student club “Nomad Debate Club” will discuss the topic “Open access: YES or NO?”

We invite you to join us in celebrating the Open Access Week with the aim of promoting ideas such as free access to knowledge and the exchange of scientific experience.
