Dear NU Community,
This year, as part of the World Blood Donor Day 2025, the Health Well-being Department in
collaboration with the NU Red Crescent Society encourages you to become a blood donor by
visiting the Scientific and Production Center of Transfusiology.
While we will not be collecting blood on campus this time, we invite you to take this important
step independently and donate blood directly at the center.

Before donating, you’ll receive a free medical check-up and lab test.
Donor Requirements:
1. Age 18+
2. Weight of at least 50 kg
3. No medical contraindications (see checklist attached)
Why it matters:
From 2023 to 2025, 714 NU community members donated over 321 liters of blood during 10
on-campus events. In February 2025 alone, nearly 200 people donated — including 74
students and 54 faculty/staff.
Repeat donors make a difference:
21 people: 2–5 donations
4 people: 5–10 donations
3 people: 10+ donations
1 honorary donor: 40+ donations
