The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with Nazarbayev University, will host the Annual Forum “Quality Assurance in Higher Education: Current State and Development Prospects” on 15-16 January 2026 in Astana.
The Forum will serve as a platform for discussing key challenges and trends in quality assurance of higher and postgraduate education, as well as for developing approaches to its further improvement in line with international best practices.
The program includes international workshops with the participation of accreditation agencies QAA, ASIIN, and IAAR, thematic sessions focused on the quality of PhD training, the functioning of internal quality assurance systems in higher education institutions, and regulatory and licensing policies in higher and postgraduate education. A plenary session will bring together representatives of the Ministry, government bodies, international experts, and leaders of higher and postgraduate education institutions.
