Nazarbayev University’s School of Mining and Geosciences (NU SMG) invites prospective applicants to our Open House Day for MSc & PhD programs on 23 January 2026, 19:00–21:00 (Astana time). The event will be held in hybrid format — you can join on campus (Room 6105, Block 6) or online via Google Meet. During the event, you will learn about NU SMG graduate pathways in:
- MSc/PhD Petroleum Engineering
- MSc/PhD Mining Engineering
- MSc/PhD Geosciences (NEW)
You will also receive guidance on admissions requirements, fees and funding, hear student experiences, and join the Q&A session with prizes (on campus).
