NU GSPP will host a research webinar featuring Dr. Seck Tan, who will speak on “From Theory to Action: Environmental Macroeconomics and Its Implications for Sustainable Development Policy.”
The talk will examine how excluding environmental factors from traditional economic assessments leads to a misrepresentation of long-term economic performance, drawing on evidence from OECD countries. The discussion will highlight the importance of integrating ecological integrity, sustainability objectives, and economic policy through co-creation and co-production approaches.
