NU (NU) is co-organizing the Alliance of Academic Health Centers International (AAHCI) Central Asia Regional Meeting 2023 to be held on May 26-27, 2023 in Astana, Kazakhstan for members in the region and worldwide. Local and international speakers from USA, Europe, Qatar, Turkey and other regions will participate.
Under the theme Academic Health Centers as Economic Engines for their Communities, Nation, and Region, leadership from AAHCI member institutions and prospective AAHCI members will gather to explore challenges, lessons learned, and how to best position academic health centers to optimize their impact on the economy and community.
Session topics include:
- The Value of Academic Medicine: The Economic Impact of Integrated Health Systems
- The Evolving Role of Academic Health Centers in Public Health – Citizen Wellbeing and Population Health
- Enhancing Research and Innovation through Medical-Pharmaceutical Bio-Clusters
- Current and future workforce challenges in Academic Health Centers
