Dear NU Community,

Based on Chapter 3 of the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 305 dated May 6, 2021, “On the Approval of the Requirements for the Organization of Anti-Terrorism Protection of Facilities Vulnerable to Terrorism”, the Occupational Safety and Health Department will conduct the security and anti-terrorism training (hereinafter referred to as the Training) from November 7 to 11, 2025.

The Training is mandatory for all employees, faculty members and students. To participate, please follow the link to the registration form and select a convenient date according to the established schedule.

The Training will cover the following critical topics related to security and anti-terrorism protection:

  • Actions upon discovering suspicious objects;
  • Evacuation procedures and interaction protocol with law enforcement agencies;
  • Behavioral algorithm in response to terrorist threats;
  • Threats within the campus;
  • Cyber threats and fraud;
  • Security in dormitories and classrooms;
  • Actions to take in case of a threatening phone call;
  • Response tactics in the event of an armed attack.
