ISAAC-2025 to Be Held in Kazakhstan for the First Time
From July 21–25, 2025, Nazarbayev University will host the International Congress on Analysis, Applications, and Computation (ISAAC-2025)—marking a historic milestone as the first time this prestigious event is held in Central Asia.
Nearly 1,000 participants from across the globe will attend the 2025 congress in Astana, including a Fields Medalist—often referred to as the Nobel Prize of mathematics—and the President of the International Mathematical Union, the highest administrative role in the field.
ISAAC-2025 will feature a wide range of sessions on topics such as AI, mathematical finance, biology, neural networks, and other cutting-edge areas of applied mathematics.
As part of this mission, 100 young researchers—one-third of whom are from Kazakhstan—have been specially invited to participate. Many will receive support through the newly established Satbayev Grants, designed to empower early-career scientists and foster international collaboration.
ISAAC-2025 is expected to be the largest mathematics event ever held in Central Asia, firmly placing Kazakhstan on the global scientific map and inspiring future breakthroughs in mathematical research.
