Nazarbayev University Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites faculty, students, and academic collaborators from partner universities in Astana to a seminar on “Intelligent Wireless Communications for 6G”, exploring pioneering research and emerging technologies shaping next-generation wireless communications.
The seminar will feature research presentations by NU students on GaN HEMT modeling, 6G MIMO diversity, and machine learning, followed by keynote talks from international scholars.

- Prof. Nicola Marchetti, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland – “Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces and Movable Antennas: Unified Architectures”
- Assoc. Prof. Abdulkadir Çelik, University of Southampton, UK – “AI-Borne Multi-Modal ISAC for Situation-Aware Multi-Agent Systems”
The event will also provide an opportunity for networking, knowledge exchange, and discussion of potential research collaborations.
