The first international conference “Advancing Pharmaceutical Development in Kazakhstan through the Establishment of a Clinical Research Hub” is one of the largest industry events dedicated to the development of preclinical and clinical research, pharmaceutical technologies and healthcare in Kazakhstan.
The conference will be held on December 10, 2025 at the Nazarbayev University School of Medicine (NU) with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, relevant ministries, industry organizations, international partners, representatives of Big Pharma and delegations from the CIS countries. The main goal of the conference is to strengthen Kazakhstan’s position as a promising hub for preclinical and clinical research, as well as to create conditions for attracting international venture capital investments and building the country’s human and scientific potential.
The event will become a key platform for the exchange of expert experience, discussion of new opportunities for cooperation and the formation of partnerships between government institutions, international organizations, scientists, the medical community and representatives of the venture industry. More than 300 offline delegates and over 500 online participants from around the world are expected to participate, which highlights the growing interest in the development of pharmaceutical research and innovation in Kazakhstan. Participants will discuss mechanisms for attracting venture capital investments, the hub’s development strategy, innovative solutions, technological cases, pharmaceutical industry development, regulatory support for clinical trials, and more.
The conference will include a strategic online session with the participation of leading international experts on global trends and best international practices in the field of clinical research.
