The monograph “Introduction to Educational Research: Theory, Methods, and Practices” is published in Kazakh and Russian. It will be helpful for graduate and doctoral students and school and college teachers interested in conducting research. The books on educational research methodology are written chiefly by western scholars. Therefore, for those who do not speak and read English, this publication will help to learn the material.
Another feature of the monograph is that the authors have maintained a balance between theory and practice. The work contains examples of research conducted and published by Kazakhstani and foreign researchers.
The NU Graduate School of Education also published other significant works for educators. Among them: monograph “Development of Educational Programs: Local Responses to Global Challenges of Higher Education,” methodological manual “Development of the syllabus: from syllabus quality to quality of learning,” “Ethical Code of Education Researchers of Kazakhstan.” The Code of Ethics is joint work with KERA – Kazakhstan Educational Research Association.
The monograph “Introduction to Educational Research: Theory, Methods, and Practices” and previous publications are easy to find on the NU GSE website.
