Senior Manager, Office of Special Projects Development

Key and functional tasks of the Department

–       analytical work on the development of new activity areas of the University;

–       coordination of work on the issues of post-exhibition use of EXPO-2017 facilities;

–       coordination of activities related to preparation of annual Eurasian Higher Education Leader’s Forum (EHELF);

–       supporting the formation and development of an active innovation community at the University and its organizations;

–       coordination of activities of structural units and organizations of the University in the framework of the development of new activities;

–       other tasks assigned to the Structural Unit.

Key and functional tasks of the position

–       managing project implementation related to post-exhibition use of EXPO-2017 facilities;

–       communication with interested parties in relation to post-exhibition use of EXPO-2017 pavilion;

–       development of concept of post-exhibition use of EXPO-2017 facilities;

–       managing project implementation related to EHELF events;

–       communication with interested parties in relation to EHELF events;

–       preparation of action plans;

–       participation in daily activities of the Structural Unit;

–       communication with other structural units of the University within the competence of the Structural Unit;

–       ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, completeness and quality documentation, compliance with the established internal procedures;

–       ensuring the execution of other functions in accordance with the legislation within the competence of the Structural Unit.

Education

Higher professional, preferably from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction and medium of assessment (Master, Bachelor or specialist)

Required professional experience 

with Master’s degree – no less than 5 years in the areas corresponding to functional areas of a specific position; or

with Specialist or Bachelor Degree – at least 7 years in the areas corresponding to the functional areas of a given position in the public service, international and/or national companies, or at least 3 years of work at the University and/or its organizations

–       ability to analyze problems, interpret operational needs, and develop solutions;

–       friendly, helpful and professional demeanor;

–       self-driven, able to demonstrate initiative, responsible;

–       excellent writing skills, diplomatic and effective communicator, strong interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in languages

Fluent spoken and written Kazakh, Russian and English

Computer Literacy

Proficient user of MS Office suite
