Position Title:

Senior Manager of Department of audio visual support


Key and functional tasks of Service:

Department of A/V support is responsible for maintaining and implementing solutions in the field of multimedia systems; ensuring the smooth functioning of the equipment intended for educational purposes of JSC “Nazarbayev University” and its subsidiaries and also conducting other various events


Key and functional Positions tasks:

Senior Manager typical duties include:

-Ensuring the smooth operation, the rules of operation, repair and modernization of the equipment;

-Introduction of innovative technologies and solutions into existing University multimedia infrastructure;

-Installation and configuration of the projection, interactive and audio equipment;

-Administration of the multimedia complex of University;

-Development of technical documentation, operating instruction;

-Development of technical specifications, maintenance of procurement documentation;

-Correspondence management


Educational level:

Higher technical education (Preferable directions are IT, electronic and telecommunication, audio visual equipment). Higher education completed in foreign universities is welcome.


The required professional experience (length, sphere, area etc.):

At least 4 years of work experience on audio, video and multimedia equipment specialist, IT-engineer, implementation and operation of the projection and interactive equipment, video engineer, telecom engineer position. (Experience in the Nazarbayev University and its organizations are welcome)


Professional knowledge and personal qualities:

Professional skills:

·    Work experience with interactive equipment (interactive boards (Promethean, Epson, Smart etc.), LCD panels (Sharp, TeachTouch, FlipBox etc.) and specialized software;

·    Work experience with multimedia equipment (video projectors (Christie, Sharp, Epson, Benq etc.), document cameras (AverVision, Wolfvision etc.), overhead projectors, digital presenters, digital recording devices etc.);

·    Installing and configuring speakers, mixers, power amplifiers, wired and wireless microphones experience, etc.;

·    Installing and configuring microphone conference systems and simultaneous translation equipment work experience;

·    Experience in implementation of infrastructure solutions and project management;

·    Skills of official correspondence and the use of electronic document management systems;

·    It requires proactive, creative approach to the tasks, as well as readiness to make responsible decisions to perform their duties


Language skills, including governmental:

Knowledge of English language is welcome. For international candidates knowledge of Kazakh and Russian – an advantage.
