2 | Key and functional tasks of the School | § Planning, organization and realization of academic activities § Participating in negotiations and drafting of agreements (Memorandums and contracts) with international partners within the limits of the School’s responsibility § Assisting in development of the University technological base |
3 | Key and functional tasks of the position | The Manager is responsible for a range of functions contributing to the effective administration of students within the School of Science and Technology: § Provide consultation to faculty, administrative staff, current and prospective students regarding the School’s academic processes, programs, degree plans, objectives, policies and procedures; § Provide consultation in student enrollment options, timetables, articulation and credit transfer arrangements, course selection and progression requirements, online registration; § Coordinate and management of data on admission to the School; § Maintenance of data on initial registration of students, further admission to the School, changes in the number of students due to transfers between schools / universities and repeated application for participation in the selection procedure for admission of students to the School; § Developing and overseeing contracts between a student and the School; § Distributing online surveys to all students and processing the evaluation results; § Communicate and coordinate student activities and school based initiatives; § Organization and participation in school events; § Assisting the dean and executive director of the School in organization of the School’s work: interaction and correspondence with faculty and students; |

5 | Education | Higher education, Master’s degree is preferred in a relevant field (Multilingual Education, Educational Leadership, Psychology, Education Policy and Management, International Education Policy). |
6 | Desired professional experience | – with Master’s degree, professional experience should be not less than 3 year in the areas corresponding to functional areas of a specific position; – with Bachelor’s or Specialist degree, work experience should be at least 5 years in the areas corresponding to the functional areas of a given position in the public service, international and/or national companies; – or at least 2 years of work experience at AOE “Nazarbayev University”. |
