2.       

Main functional duties

–        Quality and timely execution of activities in organization of professional development programme (hereinafter – Courses) for the faculty, administrative, managerial staff of universities and colleges, also school teachers.

3.       

Key and functional tasks of the position

–         Logistics, administrative and coordination support of projects implemented by the Department;

–         Official correspondence with Partners on ongoing Departmental projects;

–         Work with instructors/lecturers of the Courses, consultants, invited experts, and work with participants of the Course;

–         Participation in the process of coordinating the content of the curricula of the courses for the professional development;

–         Participate in engaging students, their selection and placement in courses;

–         Preparing the necessary information for the formation of School/Department budget applications on the forthcoming financial year;

–         Participate in the development and implementation of  the plan of the School/Department.

Education

–      Graduate degrees;

–  Minimum requirements for academic degree: Master’s degree

6.       

Required professional experience

–        Experience at least 3 years in an educational environment, particularly in the field of educational policy, curriculum development, programme evaluation and programme coordination;

–        Experience in implementation of large projects;

–        Experience in international teams  is desirable.

7.       

Professional knowledge and personal qualities

–        Analytical skills;

–        Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team;  

–        Ability to operate effectively in the presence of tight deadline;

–        Skills of preparation of reports, policies, analytical notes  and letters.

8.       

Personal competences and qualities

–        Communicative, initiative, purposeful and creative

–        Ability to work with representatives of different cultures

9.       

Knowledge of languages, including official state language (candidate must possess)

Excellent oral and written command of Kazakh/ Russian/ English is required.

10.   

Computer skills

High level of computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office
