Starting from June 13 to July 16, 2018, applications are accepted for the international competition Climate Launchpad, a competition of innovative ideas in the field of sustainable development, where an idea could be transformed into a global business. The main goal of the competition is the acceleration of innovative projects that will ensure a low-carbon future.
Participants will have a unique opportunity to undergo intensive training sessions: a 2-day Boot camp and 6 follow-up sessions, as well as a chance to present their idea to well-known national and international judges. The Climate Launchpad competition includes two finals: National, that will take place on September 20 at Nazarbayev University, and the Grand Final on November 1-2 in Edinburgh (Scotland).
Three winning teams announced at the National Final will receive a free trip to Edinburgh. At the Grand Finals, the top 10 ideas will get access to the accelerated program EIT Climate-KIC Accelerator, the top 3 ideas will receive generous cash prizes: First place: € 10,000; Second place: 5 000 €; Third place: 2,500 €.
Moreover, teams with the most interesting ideas will be able to implement their project on the Nazarbayev University campus.
