The Nazarbayev University and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy will sign the long-term partnership agreement

The Nazarbayev University and its strategic partner for the Graduate School of Public Policy, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, will sign a long-term partnership agreement. Thus, the Lee Kuan Yew School has affirmed its intention for long-term partnership with the Nazarbayev University.

On August 2nd of 2012 in Singapore (Singapore), the long-term partnership agreement between the autonomous organization of education Nazarbayev University and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore will be signed.

The agreement will be signed by the Rector (President) of the Nazarbayev University Shigeo Katsu, the President of the National University of Singapore Professor Tan Chorh Chuan, as well as the Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Professor Kishore Mahbubani.

The agreement addresses the issues of providing consulting and educational services for academic development, development of human resources, academic staff and infrastructure for the Graduate School of Public Policy at the Nazarbayev University.

The agreement implementation plan until 2017 has been developed. Under the agreement the Graduate School of Public Policy of the Nazarbayev University in collaboration with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy will launch a Master of Public Policy program in 2013 and a Master of Public Administration program in 2015.

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore is the strategic partner of the Nazarbayev University’s Graduate School of Public Policy. At the Nazarbayev University, the executive training program for government officials has been running with the participation of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy for the last two years.
