The meeting opened up new opportunities for international cooperation between two leading universities. The distinguished guests, led by Professor Tienyu Tang, Chairman of the Council of Nanjing University, a leading expert in the field of artificial intelligence and image processing at NJU, were welcomed by NU Provost Dr. Ilesanmi Adesida and Dean of the School of Science and Humanities Dr. Gonzalo Ortelano.
The meeting began with a sightseeing tour of the NU campus and continued with discussions among scientists and researchers. The parties discussed potential areas for cooperation between universities - from promoting exchange programs for students and teachers to initiating joint research projects in areas of mutual interest.
Representatives from NU and NJU are committed to establishing a long-term partnership that will enable the exchange of knowledge across disciplines and enrich the educational and research experience of students and faculty.
Professor Tienyu Tang, Chairman of the Council of Nanjing University said: “I was very impressed with the facilities available on campus. The integration of cutting-edge technologies and resources supports both teachers and students in their pursuit of excellence.
