Share this articleNU students took part in an academic program called "A Tapestry of Natural, Cultural, and Social Diversity" in Indonesia.
This collaborative program, organized by the prestigious Southeast Asian universities – Universitas Indonesia and Universiti Malaya, provided participants with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Indonesian culture and explore the geological and natural diversity of the country. The program included visits to cities such as Jakarta, Depok, and Yogyakarta. Over the course of 20 days, our students visited educational institutions and cultural landmarks, participated in tours, attended lectures, and engaged in group discussions. At the end of the program, participants discussed their acquired knowledge and shared their impressions.
"This program has truly broadened my horizons. The knowledge gained and the cultural experiences were invaluable. I would like to thank the host university, our LOs who were students of Universitas Indonesia, and who helped us adapt to the new country. The organization was on the highest level," noted Ayana Batyrbaeva, a student from the School of Sciences and Humanities.
