Share this articleNU has entered into a strategic partnership with The American University in Cairo (AUC) by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering innovation and advancing academic and research excellence.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Waqar Ahmad, NU President, and Prof. Ehab Abdel-Rahman, Provost of AUC, during a formal ceremony at NU's campus.
The agreement outlines several key areas of collaboration, including the exchange of students, faculty, and administrative staff, as well as joint research initiatives. Both universities will also work together to organize scientific conferences, symposia, and workshops while providing opportunities for joint supervision of graduate and Ph.D. students. Additionally, the MoU will facilitate summer school programs and cultural exchanges to further enrich the academic experience for students from both institutions.
This partnership is set to enhance the global academic experience for both NU and AUC students and faculty, enabling them to engage in collaborative research and share valuable insights across disciplines. It demonstrates both institutions' commitment to promoting international cooperation in higher education and addressing global academic challenges.
