The delegation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Government, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Semenov, visited the NU campus. The guests, who called on our university for the first time, were welcomed by Vice-President Dairova Kadisha. She talked about NU's history, mission, main scientific achievements, and development prospects.
The Deputy Chairman of the Yakutia Government discussed the development of education and science in his republic. The parties exchanged ideas about the prospects for further cooperation. The guests learned about the NU master plan and campus life and visited the rich library that NU is proud of.
The business introductory meeting was held within the framework of the Days of Yakutia in Kazakhstan, held from April 17 to 23, in Astana and Almaty. On April 19, the President of Yakutia, Aysen Nikolaev, met with Kazakhstan's President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The heads of state discussed cooperation in trade, culture, education and other areas.
