Dr. Rojas-Solórzano is an experienced professional, well-versed on Higher Education Management with long-term theoretical and practical exposure to Thermofluid Sciences, CFD and Clean Energy Technologies (+29 years).
Successful career in the engineering higher education system as Tenured Full Professor (since 2004), Head of Mechanical Engineering program (2007-2010), Head of Energy Conversion and Fluid Mechanics laboratories (1991-1992, 1997-2002) and Senior Industry Leading Consultant at Simon Bolivar University, Venezuela.
Current teaching, consulting and research appointments in Kazakhstan (Associate Professor), Venezuela (Tenured Professor) and France (Invited Professor).
Strong international liaisons with research teams in France, USA, Portugal and Norway, focused on biomedical engineering, hydroinformatics, microfluidics, impinging jets, flow assurance and assessment of clean energy technologies.
Principal Consultant in more than 12 funded multidisciplinary (industry-related) research projects. Always interested in academic and industrial lecturing, coaching and research collaboration within leading edge international and multicultural teams.
