Dirk J. Lehmann is a teacher for interactive data visualization and a researcher in the field of visual data analysis. He served as PI for several research projects in Europe.
In 2008, he received a M.Sc. in Computational Visualistics, in 2012 a Ph.D. in Computer Science, and a habilitation (venia legendi) in 2017 from the University of Magdeburg, Germany. In addition, he is an adjunct professor in germany. Since July 2016- May 2017, he was a visiting professor at the University Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain. In summer 2017,
he was a guest professor at TU Graz, Austria. His research interests focus on flow visualization, information visualization and visual analytics.
