Dr. Deuck Hang Lee, is an Assistant Professor in Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Nazarbayev University in August 2017. He comes from, Seoul, South Korea and Dr. Lee was a Research Professor at University of Seoul and Research Scholar in Department of CEE at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) after obtaining his Ph.D. Degree from University of Seoul in 2015.
Dr. Lee is a young professional in Structural Engineering & Concrete Mechanics, and registered construction engineer in South Korea. His research interests include shear, torsional, and flexural behaviors of reinforced, prestressed, and fiber-reinforced concrete members, seismic performance evaluation and fire resisting design of concrete structures, and application of precast concrete in practical industry.
