Aiymkul Ashimkhanova
M.D. degree from Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D.Asfendiyarov. Completed a clinical internship in Internal Medicine in 2009. Following years worked as a physician. During that time had 2 special trainings focused in Liver diseases and Gastroenterology at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and Nagasaki Medical University, Japan with a focus on Radiation Oncology. From 2011 to 2012 completed Intensive English school, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in USA. From 2012-2014 Master of Science Program at University of Pittsburgh, USA. Thesis work in “Humoral immunity during HCV From 2014 started her career as a Hepatology & Gastroenterology specialist in Kazakhstan in Transplant department of JSC National Research Center for Oncology And Transplantology. During these years had special trainings at Seoul National University Hospital in Transplant Hepatology. Joined Nazarbayev University School of Medicine in 2015 June.
