We are pleased to announce our upcoming seminar, which serves as a key dissemination activity for our mixed-methods research grant project, “Changing Academic Profession in Kazakhstan: Examining Faculty’s Research Performativity and Accountability in the Post-Socialist Context of Higher Education” (CARCEIT Education Impact Project). The study examines how faculty members from four regional public universities in Semey, Petropavl, and Kokshetau cope with neoliberal reforms and their implications for research performativity and accountability. The project is led by Aida Nuranova, with support from Inara Akhmetova, under the mentorship of NU GSE Assistant Professor Kairat Kurakbayev.
