The online application period for admission to the NUFYP and Undergraduate Programs for the 2026–2027 academic year is officially open.
Deadlines for online application:
- for “NUET applicants” category, including international applicants – November, 2025;
- for other categories – January, 2026;
- for international applicants under the full-tuition based category (visa before arrival) – May/June, 2026;
- for “Full tuition-based applicants” category - July, 2026.
The exact dates for all categories will be published on the website soon.
To participate in the selection process, the applicant must fulfill the following steps:
1. Register on the admissions.nu.edu.kz portal and create a Personal Account;
2. Fill out the application form and upload the required documents:
Scanned copy of an ID card and/or passport;
Documents confirming the selected category (see details in Personal Account).

3. Press the "Pay and submit application" button to submit your application.
Please note that the application fee is non-refundable. We would like to inform you that the application fee will be increased by three times from the initial cost for those who apply within the last two weeks before the set deadline and/or during the extension period (if applicable).
It is not possible to make changes to the application form after submission.
4. Submission of IELTS /TOEFL results according to the instructions in the Personal Account.
Important:
In order to submit IELTS/TOEFL and Digital SAT/ACT certificate results to NU, the official electronic version of valid certificates must be sent directly to NU by the Test Administrator. The applicant also needs to upload a scanned copy of the certificate to his/her Personal Account. Detailed Instructions and requirements are available in the Personal Account.
The deadlines for submission of test results for all categories will be updated in the “Admissions”- “Admissions requirements” - “Foundation Year Program and Undergraduate program”- “Important Dates” section of the nu.edu.kz website.

Check the NU website for updates, the email you provided in the application form, and also your Personal Account to track the status of your application. In case of any problems with the online application, please send a request to info_admissions@nu.edu.kz with your IIN (for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan) and the Applicant ID (a number assigned in your Personal Account).
