RESIDENCY PROGRAMS
NUFYP (NU Foundation Year Program) – a one year intensive program at the Center for Preparatory Studies of NU.
APPLY NOW The program provides intensive personal development, study skills, mathematics, and academic language proficiency preparation to the undergraduate programs of NU. Following the results of the study at NUFYP, NU Schools accept students for further education at the undergraduate programs. The guide for undergraduate and foundation programs.
An undergraduate program is the first level of higher education. Undergraduate programs typically take 4 years.
APPLY NOW The undergraduate programs of NU provide a deep understanding of academic and research principles. Modern equipment, innovative teaching methods and experienced faculty of NU provide world-class higher education. NU offers full funding and tuition-based study opportunities. Admission to a fee-paying education is available to applicants who meet all admission requirements and are recommended for admission but due to low ranking didn’t receive any of the scholarship mentioned above. Number of seats for a fee-paying education is approved annually by the NU depending on the capacity of the Schools.

The Master's degree is the second stage of higher education. The duration of Master's degree programs is from 16 months to 2 years (exception: Doctor of Medicine - 4 years and Residency - 3-5 years, depending on specialization).
APPLY NOW Those who have already completed a bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) can apply for Master’s programs. During the online application period, students of the last year of undergraduate studies can submit an official transcript indicating their current academic performance for consideration by the Admissions Committee. NU offers full funding and tuition-based study opportunities. Admission to a fee-paying education is available to applicants who meet all admission requirements and are recommended for admission but due to low ranking and limited number of grants didn’t receive any of the scholarships mentioned above. During the online application period, students of the last year of Master's degree can submit an official transcript indicating their current academic performance for consideration by the Admissions Committee. PhD students study under the state educational grant of the Republic of Kazakhstan or other forms of funding.
