  • February 18-21: AIEA Annual Conference on “The Internationalization Imperative in Turbulent Times”

 

In 2018 Director of the Department of International Cooperation Aliya Kaimoldinova and Sharing Experience Coordinator Madina Aitakanova participated in the AIEA Conference and at one of the sessions spoke on “Alliances under the Belt and Road Initiative: University Partnerships between China and Kazakhstan”.

In the summer edition “International Policies and Practices” of the Forum Magazine Director of the Department of International Cooperation Aliya Kaimoldinova and Sharing Experience Coordinator Madina Aitakanova introduce the unique context of NU and discuss how it embarks on the challenge of positioning itself in the global higher education landscape.

  • May 13-15: Annual Going Global Conference on the “Knowledge diplomacy and the digital world: does international tertiary education have a role?”

At the Going Global Conference in 2019 Nazarbayev University was represented by the Vice President for Student Affairs and International Cooperation Kadisha Dairova and Acting Director of the Department of International Cooperation Madina Aitakanova who presented the poster on the “Global Partnerships and Their Impact on the Development of Local Higher Education”.
